Imejis connects to Gmail through Zapier or Make — there is no first-party Gmail connector. Design a template once in Imejis, mark the parts that change as dynamic fields, then let your automation turn email data into a personalized, on-brand image, or attach a freshly rendered image to outgoing mail.
In Zapier or Make, use a Gmail trigger (new email, new labeled email) or a Gmail action (send email, create draft).
Add a step that calls the Imejis render endpoint:
https://render.imejis.io/v1/<designId>
Send your API key in the dma-api-key header and POST a JSON body of field
overrides, for example:
{
"title": { "text": "Thanks for your order" },
"name": { "text": "Jordan" }
}Omitted fields fall back to the design's defaults.
Use the returned image — append ?delivery=hosted for a URL you can embed in
the email body, or pass the rendered bytes to a Gmail "send with attachment"
step.
One automation can generate a unique image for every recipient without a designer in the loop.
