Imejis.io ("Imejis", "we", "us", or "our") is a product of JAGODANA LLC, a United States limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, image-generation API, editor, integrations, and the MCP server (together, the "Service").

By using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you do so subject to that organization's agreement with us, and for personal data we process on the organization's behalf our Data Processing Addendum governs.

1 who is the data controller1. Who is the data controller

For account and marketing data, JAGODANA LLC is the controller. When we process content and end-user data on behalf of a customer's account (for example, the data you render into images through the API), we act as a processor and the customer is the controller. See the DPA and Sub-processors list.

Account information. Name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in (including via Google or another OAuth provider).
Billing information. Plan, subscription status, and transaction records. Card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
Content you provide. Designs, templates, uploaded images and fonts, text, data you render into images, and any values you send to the API or MCP server.
API keys and usage. Keys you generate and metadata about API/render calls (counts, timestamps, endpoints) for quota, billing, and abuse prevention.
Communications. Messages you send to support and your preferences.
Usage and device data. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and interactions, collected through cookies and analytics tools (see our Cookie Policy).

We use personal information to:

Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
Authenticate you and manage your account;
Process payments and manage subscriptions;
Render, store, and deliver the images and content you create;
Enforce quotas, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain security;
Respond to support requests and send service and, where permitted, marketing communications (you can opt out at any time);
Comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users). We rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), consent (for optional analytics/marketing cookies), and legal obligation.

4 cookies and analytics4. Cookies and analytics

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and, with your consent, for analytics, advertising, and marketing. Providers include Google Analytics/Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, HubSpot, and Trackdesk. Non-essential cookies load only after you opt in through our consent banner. Details and controls are in our Cookie Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Sub-processors who host and operate the Service on our behalf (hosting, storage, database, payments, authentication, analytics). See the current list: Sub-processors.
Legal and safety recipients when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights, property, and safety.
Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6 international data transfers6. International data transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses. Details are available on request at support@imejis.io.

7 data retention7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure we delete or anonymize personal data within 90 days, except where we must retain records to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations. Backups are purged on a rolling basis.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and OAuth-based authentication. See our Security overview. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9 your rights and choices9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Under US state privacy laws (including California's CCPA/CPRA) you may request access to or deletion of your personal information and to opt out of "sales" or "sharing" (we do not sell your data). You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, email support@imejis.io. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law. EEA/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

10 children10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 18 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@imejis.io and we will delete it.

11 third party links and services11. Third-party links and services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example stock-photo search via Unsplash, or integrations you connect). Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
