Imejis connects to Mailchimp through Zapier or Make — there is no first-party Mailchimp connector. Design a template once in Imejis, mark the parts that change as dynamic fields, then let your automation fill those fields with subscriber or campaign data and render a finished image for every send.
In Zapier or Make, use a Mailchimp trigger (new subscriber, campaign sent, tag added, and so on).
Add an action step that calls the Imejis render endpoint:
https://render.imejis.io/v1/<designId>
Send your API key in the dma-api-key header and POST a JSON body of field
overrides, for example {"title": {"text": "Welcome, Jordan"}}. Omitted
fields fall back to the design's defaults.
Use the returned image — host it with ?delivery=hosted to get a URL you can
drop into a Mailchimp merge tag or content block.
Because every render is a single request, one automation can produce a unique image for every subscriber without a designer in the loop.
