Pipedream lets you render Imejis designs from any workflow with a short Node.js code step. Design a template once, mark the parts that change as dynamic fields, then map your trigger data into those fields and get a finished image back.
Add a step to your workflow and choose Run custom code (Node.js).
In the code step, POST to your design's render endpoint:
https://render.imejis.io/v1/<designId>
Send your Imejis API key in the dma-api-key request header, with
Content-Type: application/json.
POST a JSON body of field overrides. Each key is a dynamic field, set with its nested property:
{
"title": { "text": "Welcome, Jordan" },
"plan": { "text": "Pro" }
}Pull values from steps to fill the fields. Omitted fields fall back to the
design's defaults.
The returned image is available to all later steps. Request a stored URL
instead of raw bytes by appending ?delivery=hosted to the render URL.
Supported output formats are PNG, JPEG, WebP, and PDF — choose with
?format=png. The Imejis API hub also ships a ready-made code step you can
paste straight into the editor.
