# Relay.app Integration - Generate Images in Any Workflow

Relay.app lets you render Imejis designs inside any workflow using the HTTP
request step. Design a template once, mark the parts that change as dynamic
fields, then insert data from earlier steps and get a finished image back.

## What you can automate

- **Social graphics from any trigger** — a new record or event becomes an
  on-brand image.
- **Personalized visuals at scale** — one image per recipient or row.
- **Certificates, receipts, and badges** — turn a submission or payment into a
  branded document.

## How to set it up

1. Add a step and pick **HTTP request**.
2. Set the method to **POST** and the URL to your design's render endpoint:

   ```
   https://render.imejis.io/v1/<designId>
   ```

3. Add two headers — `dma-api-key` with your Imejis API key, and
   `Content-Type: application/json`.
4. Paste a JSON body of field overrides and insert data from earlier steps.
   Each key is a dynamic field, set with its nested property:

   ```json
   {
     "title": { "text": "New lead: Acme Co." },
     "owner": { "text": "Taylor" }
   }
   ```

   Omitted fields fall back to the design's defaults.

5. The response is the rendered image — use it in any later step (email, Slack,
   Drive). For a stored URL instead of raw bytes, append `?delivery=hosted` to
   the URL.

Supported output formats are PNG, JPEG, WebP, and PDF — choose with
`?format=png`.
