# Mailchimp Integration - Personalized Campaign Images

Imejis connects to Mailchimp through Zapier or Make — there is no first-party
Mailchimp connector. Design a template once in Imejis, mark the parts that
change as dynamic fields, then let your automation fill those fields with
subscriber or campaign data and render a finished image for every send.

## What you can automate

- **Personalized newsletter headers** — a unique hero image per segment or
  subscriber.
- **Welcome and milestone images** — triggered when someone joins a list or
  hits a milestone.
- **Product and promo graphics** — kept in sync with your catalog as campaigns
  go out.

## How to connect

1. In Zapier or Make, use a Mailchimp trigger (new subscriber, campaign sent,
   tag added, and so on).
2. Add an action step that calls the Imejis render endpoint:

   ```
   https://render.imejis.io/v1/<designId>
   ```

   Send your API key in the `dma-api-key` header and POST a JSON body of field
   overrides, for example `{"title": {"text": "Welcome, Jordan"}}`. Omitted
   fields fall back to the design's defaults.
3. Use the returned image — host it with `?delivery=hosted` to get a URL you can
   drop into a Mailchimp merge tag or content block.

Because every render is a single request, one automation can produce a unique
image for every subscriber without a designer in the loop.
