# Multi-Size Render Variations - One Design, Many Sizes

## Multi-Size Render Variations

A social post needs a square, a story, and a wide banner. Until now that meant three designs to build and three to keep in sync whenever the copy changed. Now it's one design with variations attached, and a single parameter picks the size at render time.

### How it works

Set up size variations on a design, then name one on the render URL:

```http
GET https://render.imejis.io/v1/<design-id>?variation=<variation-id>
```

Same source design, same dynamic fields, a different output size. Drop the parameter and you get the design's default size. Your overrides apply across every variation, so a title change lands everywhere at once.

### Why it matters

One template is the source of truth. Build the layout once, add the sizes you need, and the API stamps out each format on demand. No copy-paste design sprawl, no "which version is current" guessing.

It's live now on every render. Pair it with [delivery modes](/blogs/tutorials/image-api-delivery-modes) to pull each size straight into your pipeline.
